Carter Boehm of Vienna, Virginia, serves as the president of Ponderosa Films, a company he founded in honor of his father. A graduate of the Montana State University film school, Carter Boehm has produced two movies; “Robert DeBruce” and “Broken Ghost.” He also developed the Yellowstone Film Ranch, a multi-million-dollar film studio in Paradise Valley, Livingstone, Montana. The Yellowstone Film Ranch is a film location mainly featuring western sets that mirror the gold rush in the late 1800s. There are five fully functional interior and exterior sets, support buildings, and façades that mimic 28 structures standing on rolling hills with glacier mountain peaks in the background. Additionally, a farmhouse, a native camp, and multiple cabins provide extra sets. The ranch aims to become the Montana film industry’s go-to film location by providing a complete service production studio. Besides, it strives to give value to the film industry in Montana by introducing location services and giving customers state-of-the-art production planning. Moreover, it hopes to give individuals the added benefits of the state’s production incentives and tax credits.
