I think so overall, obviously there’s certain areas I struggle in, however I feel most of my transcript
shows what I'm capable of and also how hard I push myself.
I feel like certain classes, such as Chemistry Honors, serve as inconsistencies because I tried as hard as
I could in that class, and I still ended up with a 79 my 3rd quarter and a 60 on my midterm exam. It’s
not that I didn’t try, it’s just that I had a hard time understanding, plus personally the way that class was
taught was really not for me.
My creativity and drive in the area that I'm most passionate in: music. I live and breathe music and it
has made its way into being a part of my everyday life. Not only my passion for music but the sheer
amount that I do in high school. I have a lot of friends who do a lot as well, but I also balance it with
not only a job, but also producing my and others music, managing cross country, activism/protest work,
volunteering hours for the New Hampshire Democratic Party, and just a lot of stuff. I put a lot on my
plate, and sure I have a really really really hard time saying no, but i’m also able to manage my stress
and continue doing what I love.

What are you most proud of/why?
Words to describe yourself
Myself. I am a massive procrastinator, and it sometimes has interfered with my performance. Yes, I've
been on the honor roll for every quarter (except for one due to a 79 in Chemistry Honors), but there are
certain grades in those classes I'm sure could’ve been much better if not for my procrastination.
2019 and currently 2020 have been absolutely difficult. I dealt with my most difficult academic
schedule my junior year, dealt with the death of both my grandmothers, and was kicked out of school
due to COVID a day after my birthday. This has been an absolutely awful year, and it really sent me
spiraling by the end of junior year and during the summer. However, this summer was my most
creative adventure yet. I produced tons of music, began work on a concept album, produced for some of
my friends, and played virtual gigs. I was able to take everything that had absolutely been murdering
me, and I funneled it into my music, and it’s honestly taken me and my passion to a whole other level.
Well there's been a lot of people who have changed my life in a significant way. One of the most
notable for me however was Ben Folds. His music shaped my childhood and is the reason I songwrite
today. My first ever singing performance was at Piano Monster in 6th grade singing and playing his
song “Brick”, and I wouldn’t have even been playing piano if it weren't for him. I remember for me,
one of the most surreal experiences was seeing him in a cafe after seeing him live the night before. I
was too afraid to say hi to him, but I really wish I had.
The only way to be able to do what I love full time is to further my education. In the music industry
you need to make yourself stand out and the only way I can do that is to better learn how to produce
and how I can make my sound better and better.
Well obviously music production, but I also love doing political work, volunteering for the NHDP and
activism work especially. I also love going to concerts. I’m also a massive movie buff (my favorite
movie of all time is Wes Anderson’s classic movie, Rushmore).
My music production because it's completely and genuinely me, and it makes me happy to see people
be able to connect to me.
Taking music classes with Mr. Gunn has made me such a better musician. The impact he and his
classes have had on me has been immeasurable and I can’t thank him enough for it.
I’m the most proud of my success in high school. Yes, I’ve had my downs occasionally, but I’ve been
able to do so much and advance my career along so much these past 4 years. I would never trade it for
anything else.
