system to a funded system are high.
•These costs have not always been properly
assessed at the time of a reform.
•The financial capacity of a country limits the type of
reforms that can be implemented successfully
•A roadmap with a long term view would allow a path
for sustainable and adequate pensions

El dar proteccion en la vejez es de hecho algo que en el mundo entero a justificado el restringir muchas libertades. Partiendo por la obligacion a contribuir a sistemas de seguirdad social publicos y/io privados en la mayor parte del mundo. Un ejemplo que me ha tocado seguir de cerca es el de Holanda. Uno de sus pilares fundamentales son planes ocupacionales con poca o nula libertad de los individuos para decidir sobre quien administra sus aportes, cuando los puede retirar o de que manera recibira su pension futura. Estas restrcciones iban acompanadas de importantes componentes de seguro, hoy esos seguros son demasiado caros y el sistema ha pasado de ser de beneficio definido a “ambicion” definida y los individuos al asumir mas riesgos estan demandando mayores libertades. Un caso que ha despertado interes en ese sentido en Holanda, es Chile, donde existen importantes libertades.
