A commissioner in a fantasy baseball league is caught cheating by making illegal roster moves after games had started to gain an unfair advantage. The document provides 10 specific examples over the past month where the commissioner benched players who were performing poorly and added players who ended up doing better, despite games having already begun. These infractions call into question the commissioner's trustworthiness and whether he has been cheating in this manner for longer than just the past month.

2. Discovery
Monday, May 16, I check my baseball matchup with
Colin O’Leary
I notice one of his pitchers has been benched that
was previously in the lineup after a 7 p.m. game start
Shouldn’t the player have been frozen after his game
commenced?
3. Evidence
The player: Jose Berrios, a hotshot prospect who has
gotten called up and smoked in every start
Colin puts Jose Berrios into his lineup on Monday,
May 16, at 7:05 AM
The game starts at 7:10 pm in Detroit, Jose Berrios
lasts 2/3rds of an inning giving up 7 ER and 4BB
At 8:44 PM the League Manager (Colin) moves
Berrios to Colin’s bench and moves Josh Tomlin
from the bench to a starting slot
None of Berrios’ stats count against Colin, its like
Berrios was on the bench the entire time

5. Cheater, Cheater, Pumpkin Eater…
Josh Tomlin’s next game? 2 ER, 1BB, 7k, 1 WIN
After confronting Colin on this cheating, I decided to
go back through the transaction log
10 instances of illegal moves made using his
Commissioner power spanning over a month
Has Colin always been a dirty rotten cheater? Was he
tempted with his new power? Did he feel he it was
just a small lie that would not hurt anything?

Zack Cozart into the starting lineup at 5:52 PM
Addison Russell: 1 for 3
Zack Cozart: 1 for 1, 2 RBI as a pinch hitter in the 9th
inning in a game that started at 1:35 PM
23.
24. Conclusion
A sad history of removing pitchers that got blown
out, putting in players after late 9th inning pinch hits,
and taking out duds who couldn’t perform
The infractions may seem small, a guy is sucking so
switch in another guy who may do better, but still a
massive betrayal of trust
Why did he start doing this now? Can Colin be
trusted?
25. A Possible Defense
Maybe Colin didn’t realize he was moving players
after games started and the time was coincidental?
BS-Changes were done close enough not to draw
attention, but after Colin had seen action
I.E. Zack Cozart being put in after a 9th inning pinch
hit in a game that started at 1:30. Colin makes the
change near 6 pm
Most of Colin’s other transactions take place well
before games…Are we dumb enough to believe Colin
doesn’t know when games start?
26. Bullshit
Over the month of may, the vast majority of Colin’s
legal lineup changes took place before 12:00 PM,
only a few past that time
One was at 12:02
So Colin just changes guys out advantageously in the
later afternoon and evening by mistake, completely
separate from his normal pattern? BS
