There is a positive side to ADHD. There are benefits.
There are challenges of ADHD. You have to learn to treat the symptoms.
Don’t worry when you make a sandwich, watch a TV show, remember 15 other activities only to realize that you didn’t eat the sandwich. We have all done that.
A ADHD diagnosis is not the end of the world thousands of famous people have lived highly successful lives with ADHD.
You need support for your ADHD. Join ADDer World connect with others with ADHD.
ADHD is not a disorder.
ADHD symptoms are a challenge. But, we can manage them and harness our hidden gifts.
Don’t hide your ADHD. It only make it harder for those around you to understand your ADHD symptoms.
Your ADHD is not like anyone else’s. We all have our combination of symptoms.
If one treatment or coping mechanism doesn’t work then try another. Just because it worked for someone else doesn’t mean it would work for you.
Psychiatrists usually don’t have ADHD. They only understand the medical explanation. Let them know how you feel.
Doctors are paid to write prescriptions. If you want true counseling then find a ADHD life coach
No matter how much you succeed, some people will still see you as handicapped.
