How it Works
The Drawing Zoo keeps and cares
for 20 animals. Most are rescues and
spend every day with people.
We align our care with AZA regulations.
Both handlers have BFAs.
They bring the animals to classrooms.
They teach the students about
observational drawing and the animals.

Why Us?
The Drawing Zoo is more cost & time
efficient than field trips to another zoo.
Without public crowds, artists can get
closer to the animals.
The animals are friendly and unusual.
The handlers are trained in animal care
and fine art.
No similar businesses in the region.

Future Business
The Drawing Zoo is a young LLC.
We are projected to teach two classes
per month for the rest of 2013.
Our goal is to double our frequency by
12/1/ 2014.
The budget only covers marketing to
Baltimore. By 1/1/2014 we want to
afford advertising in other Maryland
counties and some of Virginia.
