2. EXT. WAR-TORN JERUSALEM - 2065 AD - DUSK
Buildings and temples lie in ruins. A low HUM rumbles in the
distance. Eyes old and young peek out of broken and dirt-
covered windows.
VICTOR (V.O.)
If you are a witness to this, then
you play a roll in what’s to come.
A puddle in a littered street vibrates to life as the HUM
grows into a GROWL. Reflections of small, floating, circular
platforms float by before dust starts to blow and a shoe
splashes through the puddle.
VICTOR (V.O.)
Once an age, I share a story to
remind humanity of where they’ve
come from and to warn them of where
they’re headed.
The GROWL grows to a DEEP RUMBLE. Sleek shadows march through
the fog of war. One tall, slender figure, VICTOR SOOTH, leads
thousands as more figures float on small platforms above him.
VICTOR (V.O.)
This time, they will call me Victor
Sooth.
Flanked by the remnants of brutal conflict, corpses of
soldiers and machines outline a city-turned battlefield.
VICTOR (V.O.)
Knowledge I share always blesses
and always curses.
Victor and his followers step out of the fog and into the
light, his masses adorned in a spectrum of colored armor.
VICTOR (V.O.)
These are your sparks to nurture.
Victor and his masses halt before an army of humans, robots,
and machines of war adorned in black, accented in red.
A young girl, SHELL WAYBURN (17), dressed in tight-fitting,
purple, rune covered armor, rises above the battle field
without the aid of a device.
THE TRUTH, a lean Hercules covered in silver snake-like body
armor, leads a group of twelve warriors in a charge aimed
directly between two military forces pointed at one another.
3. VICTOR (V.O.)
Through the eyes of many, I will
show you the world you cannot see.
From Shell’s vantage, thirty feet up, Victor’s rainbow army
realigns like a military chessboard in a sea of swirling
watercolors.
VICTOR (V.O.)
Through the sounds you cannot hear,
I will tell you the truth.
Several sniper rounds FIRE in the distance. Sonic waves trail
in the wake of a bullets headed for Shell.
Stoic and focused, Shell stares back at the pending doom.
