  7. Telewerken heeft als effect dat het voordelen heeft voor de organisatie dat flexibeler wordt en het beter laat maken. Het zorgt voor tevredenheid bij medewerkers, maar zeker blijven benadrukken dat het organisatorische aspect primeert en het uitgangspunt is en blijft. Dit uitgangspunt dient er ook toe bij te dragen dat werknemers nooit telewerken kunnen inroepen om niet te communiceren met het hoger kader. De medewerkers kunnen voortdurend aangesproken worden op die verantwoordelijkheid.
  8. Door de discussie binnen het DIRCO is het waardenpatroon die ligt achter deze reactie (namelijk drang om te controleren) door het feit dat we werken binnen een bureaucratie. Er is namelijk wantrouwen en controle is hiervoor de eerste functie om dit op te volgen/te counteren. Nu door de discussie is het referentiekader doorbroken door te stellen dat er vertrouwen is in de medewerker. De medewerkers verdienen vertrouwen. De controle ligt hem in het maken van een goed afsprakenkader. Het monitoren van dit kader gebeurt door evaluatie die de eigenlijke controle uitmaakt. De dagelijkse operationalisering van het respect voor de gemaakte afspraken gebeurt binnen de context van het team/tussen de collega’s onderling. Het uitgangspunt van de sociale controle is dat medewerkers beroepsernst tonen.
  9. Een probleem dat zou kunnen optreden bij het verder doordrijven van anders werken, is dat er een spanning ontstaat tussen de technische kost ( ICT), stijging van de organisatorische complexiteit enerzijds en de voordelen van immateriële aard anderzijds. We zijn ook al teruggestapt van 2 naar 1 dag telewerk per week. Globaal neemt de complexiteit en de technische kost toe, maar de voordelen zijn momenteel groot genoeg om verder te werken met het systeem. Maar wanneer het breekpunt van de spanning bereiken dat zullen we naarmate het groeit moeten ondervinden, hoe we hier zullen mee omgaan.
