Nearly two decades ago Brad Miller started his career as an Aviation Simulator
Technician. He has a very skilled and experienced background spanning over multiple aviation
platforms that have molded him into the subject matter expert he is today. Over the last year, I’ve
had the pleasure of working with Brad on the U.S. Air Force T-1A Combat Systems Officer
Program (CSO) here at Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida.
Brad is constantly sought after not only by program management, but by his fellow
technicians for his experience and technical guidance company wide. He has relentlessly
displayed his knowledge on simulator electronics by expertly troubleshooting malfunctions to
secure nearly a 100% simulator delivery rate for our customers over the last 6 years here at
Pensacola. I can confidently state that without Brad, our simulator delivery rate would be
adversely affected.
Brad has continuously gone above and beyond his responsibility as a Technician ll by
single handedly overhauling the entire T-1A Parts and Tool Inventory Program ($4 million dollar
program), a role typically handled by a Technician lll or a Site Manager. Brads willingness to
work outside of his scope of employment are true attributes of a leader and forecast a promising
role in a management capacity.
