Navajo Tribe

Navajo


This is a hogan it is made of wood poles, brush and
 mud put on top of it all and it always faces east to                                          The navajo where know for being code talkers.
                     invite the sun
                        light in.
                                      They are located on the four corners but are mostly
                                                          in arizona.




They mostly wore deerskin as shirts and skits                                           They where very excellent Silversmiths
then started to wear velvet, wool and so forth.
What the Navajo is known for

The Navajo is known for there code talk.

The men and women roles in the tribe where, Men where hunter, warriors and
political leaders and women where the Farmers and tend to the livestock and took
care of the children and most of the cooking.

Children would have chores and would fish and hunt with there fathers, and would
ride horses and had toys and would run and stuff but they had a lot of chores as well
to do as well as that.

Navajos would use dogs to carry there stuff or pull sleds for them to ride but then the
colonist brought horses then they could move around faster.
