About the Biology of Ageing Scientific Conference
“Singapore as well as most of industrialized countries will be facing the grey tsunami. Research experts and leaders
in the field will discuss various biological aspects of ageing which includes cellular senescence, effects of nutrition
and associated signaling pathways, inflammation and immune resolution and studies on intervention in the ageing
process. The clinical, genetic, immune, metabolic and cognitive aspects of ageing will be covered together. Past,
current and future interventional strategies in humans and models will be discussed. Scientists, clinicians and groups
interested in the the Biology of Ageing are welcomed to attend this scientific forum. A*STAR and NUHS are very
