The instructor is very helpful outside of class time. Also, he sometimes tries to make the subject of Math more
fun.

Execellent instructors
Mr. Wiles was one of the best teachers I have ever had in all my years as a student. He speaks clearly. He is
extremely organized, and allows the students to ask questions over and over again showing great patience.
Knowing that there was time conflicts during this short summer semester, he was able to teach all the material
extremely effectively. I really hope I can take another course offered by this instructor. This course has been
one of my best memories at Purdue !
He is very friendly and answers all questions with thought. He is also very patient with his students
He did an excellent job making the class atmosphere casual and free. I was never afraid to ask questions. He
always responded fully and clearly, whether the question was simple or complex. Similarly his office hours
were great; overall he is very helpful and easy to talk to. And never mind the fact that he's just a good teacher
PERIOD, I barely noticed how quickly the material was moving because he always explained it so well.
Undoubtedly one of the best math teachers I've ever had.
I like the instructor take time seriously to answer the questions in the class.

Even though this is a theoretical Math course, please try doing more examples during class. I felt that the
textbook was not as clear as I previously thought it would be.
If I had to improve anything about the course, I would increase the time on the abstract concepts on general
linear maps between vector spaces, particularly more emphasis on sections 3.5 in the book. I wish I had more
time to go over all the sections in the book.
He sometimes talks too fast or explains things in a rush. In the future, if he could take more time with his
explanations, it would help his students a lot
I want to suggest the instructor organize each and every important sections, and subsections of the course in
his instruction. The course content is too big to digest for the summer semester.
