As a team of six undergraduate and graduate students of various majors from the University of Illinois, we planned, designed, and presented a $57.5M mixed-use development comprising of 173,000 SF of affordable and market rate multi-family residential, 64,000 SF of retail space, and 16,500 SF of community space. Station at 63rd was financed through a creative structure using $2.1M of public incentives, $1.53M of strategic corporate partnerships with Dell and Follet, $31.47M of debt, and $22.35M of equity. The foundation of Station at 63rd is to offer the citizens of Englewood, Chicago with an economic foundation to catalyze future prosperity throughout the entire neighborhood.
