INTRODUCTION (150 words):
Say what you are going to do and how (Aims and Objectives)
(Aim) ‘This essay will demonstrate that ……’
(Objectives) ‘to do this, the essay will consider the following points; (1) When, (2) Why, (3)
How & (4) What next?
Add in any definitions of words or terminology that you assume that people won’t know.
MAIN BODY (1200 words)
Development of your objectives from your Introduction (point/counterpoint).
If 300 words per objective if 4 to be covered
CONCLUSION (150 words)
Restate Aim and Objectives ‘this essay has shown xxx by considering (objectives 1-4).
Make a statement about what you think; ‘the overwhelming evidence suggests that God
Lives!’ – avoid using the 1st person.
