Dear Hiring Manager:
Ben Contreras worked at UT Southwestern for two years and was hired to fill a newly created position –
Facilities Coordinator in Parking Services. In this role, Ben ensured all garage equipment, gates, and pay-on-
foot machines were serviced and/or repaired for daily operations. In his role as facilities coordinator, Ben
reported to me and managed the work and performance of our enforcement team.
As our vendor, four years prior, Ben was our vendor who performed these same services. However, he
successfully led the first major garage equipment install at one of our newest garages at that time.
Ben has great project and leadership skills,is a highly-motivated person, and is very capable of achieving any
goals he sets for himself or this team.
Ben is an asset to any organization that hires him. He was definitely an asset at UT Southwestern and he
would always be welcomed back.
