Book by Owner pioneered fee based property management and provides services and solutions for vacation home owners for a
fixed monthly fee. We offer professional property management, 24/7 guest relations, marketing & booking services and technology
based solutions.
What does your service cost?
Our management fees vary from $100 - $500 per month based on the size of your property. We have standard pricing for condo
and townhome style properties and customized pricing for 5+bdrm or 2500+ sqft properties. Contact our office to discuss pricing
and service options for your property.
What does the management fee include?
Our monthly fee includes the essential services and administration duties of vacation rental management. Our services are
provided on an unlimited basis regardless of how many bookings you have. These services include … Start up Support, BBO
Booking Manager, Pre-Arrival Guest Communication, Access Control, 24HR Guest Assistance, Housekeeping Coordination,
Repair & Maintenance Coordination.
Is housekeeping included in your fee?
No. Book by Owner provides a professional cleaning service for our owners but the cost for the cleaning is billed monthly in
addition to the management fee.
Does Book by Owner inspect my property?
Yes! We complete a thorough property inspection following every guest departure. Inspection reports are submitted online via ipad
and immediately sent to you via email with photos and video. All inspections are performed by trained BBO staff, we never rely on
our housekeepers to perform property inspections.
Will Book by Owner provide bookings?
YES. Book by Owner offers our BBO Plus program that can supplement your booking efforts or provide all of your reservations,
whichever you prefer for a low 10% commission.
Is there a contract?
NO. Book by Owner offers a monthly service agreement, if you are ever unhappy with our service you are free to cancel anytime
with a 30 day notice.
Will Book by Owner help me get started if I have never rented by owner?
ABSOLUTLEY! Our Start up Support provides step by step instructions on how to prepare your property for rentals, establish rental
rates and policies, create advertising and collect payments.
