I received an email this morning about YouTube terminating or suspending accounts in past 6 months and especially
in the last 2 weeks. Here's the tips and warnings:
FIRST, if Youtube asks you if you would like to "earn revenue" from your Videos-do not do it because
it increases your channel scrutiny Big Time!
Example of one YouTube offering potential revenue from your video content:
2. SECOND, Do not USE any copyrighted material whatsoever. Youtube is SMART and they are
watching this very closely. If creating videos yourself, be sure to "buy" the music you're using. More
reputable sources include: iMovie's Library of Royalty Free Music, Pond5.com and Audiojungle.net .
SAME THING with using copyrighted images in the videos you create. Either use your own real estate
photos you take or buy the images you use and retain those records in case you need to prove
purchase ownership. NEVER do a google search and just grab an image for your video or your blog....according to
what I'm reading, that could get you in serious legal copyright trouble and your YouTube account terminated. This
article shares free and low cost sources of images as well using CC or Creative Commons:

Example of one YouTube user Copyright Violation found on Google:

THIRD, Avoid any inappropriate content! Enough
Said.
Example of one YouTube user Inappropriate
Content Notice found on Google:
3. FOURTH, No FAKE, ROBOTIC or automatic views/comments/likes that are not real or organic. Stop
"Buying" views and likes and lay off of tube promoter for the views and comments. Make everything
about your YT Channel be as organic as possible. YouTube is smart enough to know when your
videos and channel are receiving usual channel and views activity.
