DBS Projects:
• Allowing DBS to purchase Parts from Caterpillar both in EURO and USD.
• Loading unidentified part and labor costs to used machines was causing a significant
variance in profitability of USED department. Project was for taking under control of
flow of those costs to used machines.
• Analyzing and minimizing the difference in parts amount in stores, DBS and Finance.
• Balance Score Card reports for cost management of RENTAL machines.
SAP Projects:
• Migration from DBS to SAP project;
I was a member of the main project team and worked in Business Blueprint which is a
vital part of SAP implementation.
• Project Manager of the sub-project Master Data Transfer from DBS to SAP ERP system.
• Project Manager of the sub-project Implementation of Caterpillar - Dealer Interfaces
Phase-1 ( 32 interfaces) ;
o Lead SAP consultants and development team in accordance with Caterpillar
documentation and Caterpillar IT Team guidance. ( Consultants and
development team was a local team. )
o Coordinated unit, IT and key user/power user tests with Caterpillar IT team.
o Coordinated and applied Pre Cutover Activities with various Caterpillar Teams.
o Made analysis and coordination to make data base ready in SAP for Caterpillar
interfaces Go-Live
o Ensured a perfect Go-Live process.
• Project Manager of Caterpillar Interfaces Phase-2 ( 7 interfaces) with the same
responsibilities mentioned above in Phase-1. ( with global teams)
• Project Manager of Part-Store Interfaces Project (Parts sale on web) (8 interfaces) with
the same responsibilities mentioned above in Phase-1. (with global teams)
• Project Manager of a Caterpillar web service interfaces project in dealer side as a pilot
dealer (6 interfaces).
• Managed BW & BI Team to implement Corporation reports to SAP.
