Temporal Aspects of Machine Learning and Twitter is my masters’ dissertation topic that analyzes the
decrease in performance of the machine learning algorithms, when the temporal gap between the
training and testing dataset increases.
CyanoTracker is a research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and it aims at the
optimal placement of sensors for the measurement and prediction of Cyanobacterial Growth on the water
bodies in Georgia.
Classification of Tweets on Cyanobacteria growth classified the tweets into relevant and irrelevant on
the basis of the occurrence of frequent words in the tweets. Machine learning principle of training and
testing data was implemented.
Depression Analysis of Suicide Notes performed sentiment analysis of suicide notes using N-gram and
Plutchik's wheel of emotions.
Citizen Journalism Platform was a web based collaborative platform where citizens posted news articles
on various fields like Sports, Politics, and Education etc.
Analysis of Protein Folding calculated the number of H-H bonds in protein folding and analyzed the
structure of Protein Folding.
Programming on Hadoop included implementation of map reduce programs using mathematical
formulae on Big Data.
