father and step mother. They said that she
had trouble with her step mother and that she
had visited the pharmacy the day before the
murder to get a drug that could kill someone
with one drop. The prosecution also said that
Lizzies testimony was inquest which
contributed to her alibi. Lizzie clams that it
could have been an intruder that committed
the crimes but the police highly doubt that.
The police also found hatchets and axes on
the premises . And on top of all this the police
found Lizzie burning a dark blue dress a
couple days after the murders.
5. The Defense
The defense clams the Lizzie had no motivation to
kill her father and step father and that no real
evidence that said her step mom and her
relationships was really troubled and there was
even less motivation to kill her father. The defense
also got Jennings to testify and they told the jury
that the dress Lizzie was burning did in fact have
paint on it.
