Experience
Ball Corporation | Westminster, CO
[Analytical Bench Chemist]
Full Time, February 2016 to Present
Quantified corrosion levels of varying beverages by applying principles of electrochemistry using
techniques and instrumentation to find pH, detection of free chlorides, sulfides, copper and aluminum. My
analytical skills and understanding of potentiometry were improved on while gaining experience with ICP,
IR and potentiostats.
Outcomes:
Infra-red spectroscopy was employed for low level Lubricant weight determinations that cannot be
quantitatively determined using mass.
Used standard methods for measuring total package oxygen, headspace oxygen, dissolved
oxygen as well as dissolved carbon dioxide and headspace volume using Orbisphere.
Played an integral role in providing and analyzing data for corrosion on aluminum oxide,
electrochemical impedance spectroscopy using potentiostats and copper and aluminum
determinations using ICP.
Satisfied quarterly hood and shower Inspections

[Crime Lab Intern]
Internship, May 2013 to July 2013
Selected for a summer long internship to assist crime lab chemists with analytical drug testing casework.
During my time there I analyzed multiple plant samples, operated and maintained analytical
instrumentation and prepared lab reagents used in presumptive testing. I was also introduced to the
FEPAC guidelines and internal quality-control policies the lab adhered to.
Outcomes:
● Gained experience using wet chemistry methods
● Assisted in multiple drug chemistry casework and preparing reagents
● Investigated and offered viable solutions for casework, using analytical strengths to isolate issues
and facilitate their timely resolution.
● Attended academy training which allowed me to sit in on blood spatter analysis and evidence
collecting seminars.
● Gained operational knowledge of various cameras used in the forensic world; processed mock
crime scenes.

assistant/receptionist at Terracon Consultants Inc. Maintained database and ensured the delivery of
important documents to clients and quickly became a trusted assistant known for “can-do” attitude,
flexibility and high-quality work.
Outcomes:
● Co-developed a comprehensive 60 page training manual that enabled faster ramp up for newly
hired support staff
● Earned excellent marks on performance reviews in areas including work volume, accuracy and
quality; ability to learn and master new concepts; positive work ethic; and commitment to
providing unsurpassed service.
● Trained Front Desk Receptionist, File Clerks, and typists; ensured the company with a great
employee and gave feedback to how well they performed.
