3. FINAL YEAR PROJECT
Title: Ca-alginate immobilized ZnO beads for methylene blue degradation.
Description: Conduct research on ZnO beads towards the degradation of methylene blue. The study of Ca-alginate as
a novel support for ZnO immobilization provides a new knowledge and improvement in industrial process for water
treatment. The objectives of this experiment are to:
1. Prepare ZnO beads by varying examinated conditions.
2. Characterize the prepared ZnO beads using scanning electron microscopy.
3. Evaluate the efficiency of the prepared ZnO beads for methylene blue removal using UV-Visible.
