First of all there are 3 things I must know before going deeper into
my topic such as :
1. What is Fashion Marketing?
Ans: Fashion marketing is the branch of marketing where
advertisement campaigns and promotional activities are targeted
towards consumers of clothing and accessories.
2. What is Fashion Business?
Ans :Fashion business are tactical and entrepreneurial spirit of a
fashion company. They work (fashion business professional) on
production, communication, marketing and retail and must
knowledge about the fashion area.
3. What does a Fashion Marketer’s do?
Ans : A fashion marketing manager use their research and analytical skills to determine the best market for
their company, and they develop their creative skill for increasing sale.

In short, the concept of fashion marketing is that the business must satisfy customer need & business must be
profitable.
 Fashion products are presented in a way as if customers bought the products.
 Fashion marketers must deliver the right products at the right time and at the right price.
A fashion marketer must remember that Market segmentation is important part of fashion business
Firstly, I am saying about Market Segmentation. In marketing, market segmentation is the process of dividing a
broad consumer or business market, also potential customers, into sub-groups of consumers based.
The Fashion Product Life Cycle has a significant impact on the fashion business.
I am thinking that a Fashion Marketer must have proper knowledge about Fashion Product Life Cycle for their
business success. The 6 stage Fashion Product Life Cycle is shown given below the picture.
Product Life Cycle
The 6 stage of Fashion Product Life Cycle as given below :
1. Development – High costs but no sales
2. Introduction/Launch – Promotion product on development, low sales
3. Growth – Sales increase
4. Maturity – sales stabilise, less costs on promotion needed & profit should be high.
5. Saturation – sales begin to slow down for reason a new or alternative product on the market
6. Decline – Sales decline, market out of the product.
So we can finally say that The Fashion Product Life Cycle is important part of Fashon Business.Example of
helps a business to manage its product portfolio.
Fashion marketers do that for the fashion business
Fashion marketers work with clothing brands to help communicate with consumers and encourage purchases.
 Develop brand image
 Identify and research target audience of a brand
 Analysis market reports
 Create content for marketing campaigns
 Schedule photo shoots for new fashion collections
 Manage marketing campaigns
 Enhance the consumer shopping standard.
 Maintain a marketing budget
 Communicate with customers on behalf of the brand
So finally say last word my topic Fashion Marketing is a vital part of the
fashion industry. It brings the creations of fashion designers around the
world to wholesale buyers and consumers. Another advantage of fashion
marketer for fashion business that customer easily communicate with
the brand. “Success on the fashion business comes from the important
role of the fashion marketer.”
