1.“Design And Fabrication Of Helical Baffle Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger”
Fouling is a defect that occurs due to dirt deposition in a parallel plate
or a segmental baffle shell and tube heat exchanger.
Fouling can be reduced by increasing the fluid velocity and so we have
designed a helical baffle heat exchanger.
2.“Design Of Semi-Automatic Indexing Mechanism In Projection Welding Process”
-in BRAKES INDIA LIMITED, Padi,Chennai-50.
To weld two studs to a brake shell, the brake shell is to be indexed
manually to 180 degrees. This increases the cycle time of the process.
In order to reduce the cycle time we have designed a pneumatically
operated rack and pinion mechanism to index the shell and stud.
