Redefining ADCs for Software-as-a-Service Application Delivery that’s Scalabl... Array Networks
Whether software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers rely on their network, application or DevOps group – or some combination thereof – to deploy and manage applications and application infrastructure, the goal is the same: to ensure that each new release functions properly over the Internet to a large and growing end-user community. Due to the demands of Web-scale operations and the need to maintain competitive advantage through rapid release cycles, it is essential that SaaS providers select and deploy networking solutions that are scalable, adaptable, affordable and simple. This is especially true for application delivery solutions which play a critical role in ensuring high availability, application performance and security for Web and cloud-based applications and services.
This paper contrasts app delivery in the context of traditional enterprise applications with app delivery for SaaS applications in order to identify and define ADC characteristics and Array advantages that match the unique requirements of cloud-based application service providers.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

A tale of scale & speed: How the US Navy is enabling software delivery from l...sonjaschweigert1
Rapid and secure feature delivery is a goal across every application team and every branch of the DoD. The Navy’s DevSecOps platform, Party Barge, has achieved:
- Reduction in onboarding time from 5 weeks to 1 day
- Improved developer experience and productivity through actionable findings and reduction of false positives
- Maintenance of superior security standards and inherent policy enforcement with Authorization to Operate (ATO)
Development teams can ship efficiently and ensure applications are cyber ready for Navy Authorizing Officials (AOs). In this webinar, Sigma Defense and Anchore will give attendees a look behind the scenes and demo secure pipeline automation and security artifacts that speed up application ATO and time to production.
We will cover:
- How to remove silos in DevSecOps
- How to build efficient development pipeline roles and component templates
- How to deliver security artifacts that matter for ATO’s (SBOMs, vulnerability reports, and policy evidence)
- How to streamline operations with automated policy checks on container images

Access to Personal Workspace Made Easy with Remote Desktop
1. Access to Personal Workspace Made Easy with Remote Desktop
With the business world has become faster paced and more globalized, there are many teams working
together across multiple time zones and countries. Today’s changing work environment has a number of
employees are working remotely. This has consequently made many organizations look for innovative
and cost effective ways to increase the productivity of their workforces.
Remote Desktop Access
The opportunities that remote access offers for businesses are numerous, starting with the enhanced
productivity. This technology has the capacity to provide many businesses relief as efficiency and
productivity is maintained despite any emergency or unforeseen circumstances. Remote access is a
fantastic tool, but because vulnerable information might be transferred over the Internet, it is important to
take some security measures if you are using it for your business. It is therefore imperative to have
flexible, secure and manageable options for remote access to an enterprise.
Users must be able to get at the applications and resources they need, even when they can’t make it to
their normal place of work. If an employee accesses company resources from a home PC that contains a
virus, it can result in unleashing the virus on the corporate network. And this may cause as much damage
as the business disruption that kept the employee at home in the first place. With an efficient remote
desktop appliance, you can be assured of uninterrupted business continuity. The workers can promptly
access their virtual desktop applications using any remote device anytime without any disruptions. The
solution must ensure that desktops are provided through a secure network so that they are simple to use
and easy to deploy with single a sign-on from any URL or mobile application.
Choose a Solution with Care
It is best to therefore choose a remote access solution that is particularly for office workers. Such
solutions can provide simple, secure access to desktop environments, and also provide ease-of-use with
straightforward and simple architecture. Choose a solution that delivers full application transparency
even in a highly available clustered hardware platform, and can provide an easy login process without the
need of any technical training. Access must be available when the office is no longer functional, or if the
server infrastructure has been moved elsewhere.
