Is Your Focus Obsessive?
When I saw the title of this article “The Age of
the Customer Requires an Obsessive Focus
by CIOs and CMOs” on Forrester.com I was
curious for a couple different reasons. What
are they suggesting we obsess over? We live
in an obsessive age with content in front of us
all day (and sometimes night)
long. How do we choose? Also, I was curious on how CMOs and CIOs
interact in this article. We’ve really been focusing on the importance of a
marketing and technology marriage, so I just had to dive in.
The article starts off by saying we are in a post-digital age, the age of the
customer. Therefore our approach must be customer-centric.
