Typically you would want to do this every day.
It’s best to this around the same time every day. It will help to reinforce the habit of spending time everyday working on your LinkedIn portfolio.

Make sure to spend a few minutes and review what is new with the people you are connected to.
It’s key to be seen as active in your network. Just don’t overdo it and remember to keep it relevant to your industry.
The home page is a great place to keep up to date with your connections and your LinkedIn network. Your news feed allows you to view articles/posts that people in your network and influencers have posted. You can also have a quick view of how many people have viewed your profile, milestones your connections are having and views on your most recent update.

Posting daily (20 posts per month) is liklely to get you exposure to 60% of your netwrok
Always be on the look out for people who can endorse your skills. Make sure your skills and endorsements are relevant to your industry. Don’t be afraid to endorse to endorse people who you think deserve it. LinkedIn will suggest to you endorsements for people within your network.
You can join up to 100 groups. Make sure they are relevant to your industry. If you add content or comment within a LinkedIn group it will be seen by all members in the group. This can go a long way in gaining exposure with industry relevant groups. Just remember to keep your comments and posts relevant to the group.

Who’s viewed your profile is a great place to see who is viewing your profile. If a person has their privacy settings on, you will not be able to see who is viewing you. The more you post in your network, post or comment in groups and reach out to connections the more people will view your profile.
Always be on the look out for new connections. The “Who You Know Section” is great for finding people who are connected to your connections, people who may be in your industry or former coworkers or employees.
Check through your newsfeed to see if there are any posts that your connections have made that you could like or share within your network. A quick and relevant note on someone’s posts goes a long way to making new connections. If you comment on a post, it’s seen in that persons network.
Your newsfeed is a great source for curated content to share within your network. Also, check out The Pulse. It is where all the the LinkedIn Influencers content is located. These too can be shared within your network, groups or outside of the LinkedIn world
If you follow these quick 10 tips, you will be well on your way to creating an All-Star LinkedIn profile. This should take a maximum of 20 minutes a day and probably less as time goes on. LinkedIn is a powerful networking tool for professionals in all industries. If you take the time to grow your network it will pay off for you.
