Good luck in figuring which side is telling more of the truth! Today, at this time of ‘discombobulation’ or ‘he said-she said and/or they said’ who knows what to think?
Most of course don’t ‘think’ and fall into what some call ‘apathy which is know as the 8th Deadly Sin’ although some say ‘acedia’ is really the old 7th deadly sin of ‘Sloth’. (maybe there is a 9th deadly sin of ‘Arguing’ especially about how many sins there are). Who cares what’s ‘first, fourth, seventh especially when there may be better ones (worse) and/or more?

Good luck in
fi
guring which side is telling more of the truth! Today, at this time of
‘discombobulation’ or ‘he said-she said and/or they said’ who knows what to think?
Most of course don’t ‘think’ and fall into what some call ‘apathy which is know as the 8th
Deadly Sin’ although some say ‘acedia’ is really the old 7th deadly sin of ‘Sloth’. (maybe there
is a 9th deadly sin of ‘Arguing’ especially about how many sins there are). Who cares what’s
‘
fi
rst, fourth, seventh especially when there may be better ones (worse) and/or more?
Personally, I think there are as many as, at least, 20 deadly sins. Lying today is certainly one of
those although, I’m
fi
ne with making it one of the 7 replacing ‘pride’ which is being used today
as an ‘asset’ to be proud of. Confusing? That’s because many words today are being
rede
fi
ned, especially by our ‘fake leaders’. Words are never the truth, although among those
who sit on the pulpit or ‘bench of judgement’, you might
fi
nd otherwise.
‘Lying’ is certainly a ‘no no’ and let us count the ways that the
word can show ‘abuse’ like ‘omission’ of the facts or truth.
Keep in mind facts may not be the truth too. Of course a biggie
is ‘love’ that gets
fl
ipped around like pancakes in a pancake
restaurant. Jumping to the ‘bible thumpers’ who would rather
die than give up that every word in the Bible is LITERAL…even
though that make no more sense than calling a sneaky fox an
elephant.
Word crimes are infested in every culture today, some of them in
print are ‘dangling participles’ with two meanings because of
presentation. Straight talk might be subjective or ‘who knows
what’. Always the key is to harmoniously position in tune with what is meant. It’s
sometimes called ‘dialoging’ which eliminates the deadly sin of arguing needlessly becoming
‘wrath’ of one of the other deadly sins of ‘ancient times’.
Time for a reset of communication! First step might be ‘agreeing to agree’ that two or more
people focus on
fl
owing with the same intent and result of all interactions. No more dreaming
what’s meant, instead being of ‘one mind’ in harmony like an orchestra playing a piece of
Beethoven’s 5th Symphony. If you don't know how to love yourself, you will never be able to
love anyone else. And even if you think you love them, if you don't have a healthy relationship
with yourself, you're going to end up hurting them or allowing them to hurt you. Top lying - to
yourself and to others, especially who you claim to love!
