attacks.
โ There are 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems, and networks โ
whether physical or virtual โ are considered so vital to the United States that their
incapacitation or destruction would have a debilitating effect on national security,
public health and safety.
โ InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA) was founded in 1996 as a
partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector.
โ Maintains status as a nonprofit 501(c)3 Organization
โ Affiliated with the FBIโs Office of Private Sector (OPS).
โ 86 InfraGard Members Alliances (IMAs) representing 53,000+ individual members

โ In 2011, Americans made 262 million visits to hospital emergency or
outpatient departments.
โ At any one time, almost 50 percent of Americans require one or more
prescription medications to mitigate health issues.
โ The HPH Sector constitutes approximately 15 percent of the gross national
product with roughly 85 percent of the sectorโs assets privately owned and
operated.
For many Americans, even a brief disruption in HPH
services could be catastrophic.
