As the narrator climbed through the undergrowth, they heard rustling and noises from a large animal. Emerging into an open area, the narrator saw an enormous, 30-meter tall creature with the body of a lizard but covered in golden scales. When the creature turned at the sound of a broken stick, the narrator was shocked to see not a fierce dragon face, but the face of an adorable kitten. The creature even purred and rubbed against the narrator like a cat. The narrator was able to pet and become friends with the giant lizard by offering it berries, and learned it exhibited more cat-like behavior despite its lizard body. The narrator named it "Victor"
