“Thank you for your professional and informative presentation on the Buffalo
Soldier. I asked my students to write reflection paper after hearing your lecture.
Here are quotes from two students:
“In truth this presentation that I attended was something that I will never
forget...I was in awe..”
Anthony Powell’s presentation was quite a learning experience. His historical
perspective was not which I had expected. Instead of focusing on the injustices
that the people of the United States as well as the government have caused the
African Americans of this country..he talked about how his grandfather was able
to find a place in American society that he was proud of.” Bellarmine College
Preparatory School.
“Your speech “Blackman, Brownman, The Thread that Binds.” was very
informative, stimulating, and unique. I as well as the audience were quite
surprised by not only the information you imparted to us, but the documentation
you provided to us,, to verify your information.” Lamont W. Allen, Director of
Black Affairs, University of Santa Clara.

Now that the sound and fury of the exhibition installation and opening has
subsided, I want to convey my heartfelt thanks for all your help and support. This
