About
I am an anthropologist/archaeologist whose primary interest is in the prehistory of the Andes. Two eras and three culture groups have been central to my work, the Early Intermediate Period Moche (50-800 CE) and Middle Horizon Wari and Tiwanaku cultures (600-1100 CE). Currently, my dissertation project involves applying my skills in organic residue analysis and brewing to answer questions about gender and agency in regard to women who negotiated the sociopolitical landscape of the Middle Horizon Andes.
