2. Prerequisites
• Studio - An instance of Anypoint Studio. If you don’t use Anypoint Studio
for development, follow the instructions below to install Salesforce
Maven dependencies in your pom.xml file.
• Salesforce developer account - Sign up for one at
link:http://developer.force.com/
• Security token - Sign into link:http://developer.force.com/, click your
name in the upper right corner, then click Setup > My Personal
Information > Reset Security Token. Then, click Reset My Security Token.
Salesforce sends your security token via email to your registered email
address.
• Consumer key and Secret - If you are using the Salesforce connector to
access an OAuth API, you also need a consumer key and secret. Refer to
the detailed documentation on how to use the Salesforce connector to
access an OAuth API.

• Following are the options on general tab –
• Display Name – Name of the component to be displayed in Mule flow.
• Connector Configuration – Reference to the global connector configuration.
• Operation – What operation to be performed on Salesforce servcer.

• Following are the options on general tab –
• Name – Name of the component.
• Consumer Key – Consumer key for the application provided by
Salesforce.
• Consumer Secret – Consumer secret for the application
provided by Salesforce.
• On No Token – What to do if no token is returned by server.
• Read Timeout – Time in milliseconds for reading timeout.
• Connection Timeout – Time in milliseconds for connection
timeout.
• API Version – Version of API.

• Following are the options on general tab –
• Assignment Rule Id – The Id for a specific rule to run on a case or lead.
• Client Id – Id of the client.
• Time Object Store Reference – An object store instance to be used in this
connector.
• Batch Sobject Max Depth – Maximum depth for objects that would be
created for batch operation.
• Host – Host name for proxy server.
• Port – Port number for proxy server.
• Username – Username for proxy server.
• Password – Password for proxy server.

• Following are the options on Oauth tab –
• Domain – The domain name for callback address.
• Local port – Local port for callback address.
• Remote port – Remote port for callback address.
• Path – Path for the callback address.
• HTTP Connector Reference – Reference to the global HTTP Connector
Configuration.
• Default Access Token ID – Default access token Id to be used.
• Object Store Reference – Object store reference class.
