1) In Funky Flashman's first appearance, he unsuccessfully attempts to cash
in on the talents of Mister Miracle. Donning a wig and a beard, he meets
with Mr. Miracle to interview for the position of his tour manager. Miracle
accepts, despite the fact that Big Barda and Oberon object to Flashman's
demeanor and tactics.
Funky Flashman is a fictional character, an entrepreneur in the DC Universe.
Created by Jack Kirby, the character first appeared in the pages of Mister
Miracle during the early 1970s. He is popularly considered a satiric caricature
of a particular person.

2) Yul Brynner was a Russian-American film and stage actor. Brynner was best known for his portrayal
of King Mongkut of Siam in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The King and I, for which he won
two Tony Awards and an Academy Award for the film version. Brynner was known for his shaved head,
which he maintained as a personal trademark long after adopting it in 1951 for his role in The King
and I. Earlier, he was a model and television director, and later a photographer and the author of two
books. A popular comic character is based on his personality. Which character?

3) He first appeared in National Comics #1 (July, 1940), which was published by Quality Comics during
the Golden Age of Comic Books. DC Comics acquired the character as part of its acquisition of the
Quality characters in the 1950s, and he was used as a supporting character in Justice League of
America in the 1970s.
He is a fictional character, a DC Comics superhero based on the national personification of the United
States. He was depicted as a mystical being who was originally the spirit of a slain patriotic soldier
from the American Revolutionary War, and who now appears in the world whenever his country
needs him. His powers are said to be in direct proportion of the belief people have in the idea of the
United States.

City. Since its initial launch, X Enterprises has been a successful international company, specializing at
several industries such as chemicals, cybernetics, pharmaceutics, agriculture, healthcare, technology.

6) X's main ability is a form of Immortality in that while he can die he can never stay dead, always
reviving himself in short manner. Whenever X is killed, he returns to life with a different power (or
"gift" as he often refers to it) that correlates in some way to his death. These range from minor, almost
dismissive abilities, such as the changing of his skin colour, X-ray vision and making pyrotechnic
butterflies, to the extraordinary, such as the ability to transform into a Hulk-like monster with a bullet-
proof hide, Cosmic/Atomic Manipulation or quantum based telekinesis. He can potentially become
more powerful than any other superhero on Earth if he "resurrects right". The source of his power
appears to be nanites called "tektites" that permeate his body, although the Phantom Stranger
claimed that X had powers in previous lives. X can revive whatever the state of his remains, including
total cremation.

7) One of Shazam/Captain Marvel's primary villains, X is a two-inch alien worm of high intelligence
with telepathic powers. X usually carries out his villainous plans through an organization called the Y,
significant as one of the first supervillain teams in comics to contain villains that a superhero had
fought previously. Y made its debut in Captain Marvel Adventures #22, and the resulting "Y" story arc
continued for two years in Captain Marvel Adventures, ending with issue #46 (May 1945).
X is one of Earth’s most formidable telepaths. He is able to take control of an individual’s mind. He also
possessed many insect-related abilities, like the ability to spin very strong silk at speeds faster than the
eye can see, so quickly he can encase a human in a cocoon within seconds.

8) As a child, X was blinded in an accident by a radioactive substance that fell from an out-of-
control truck after he pushed a man out of the path of the oncoming vehicle. While he no longer
can see, his exposure to the radioactive material heightens his remaining senses beyond normal
human ability, and gives him a "radar sense." X uses his superhuman sense of hearing to detect
enemies, both nearby and distant. X also has heightened sense of smell, and has once detected a
sniper two blocks away only by smelling gunpowder. Ironically, X is immune to the Scarecrow’s fear
toxin.
X has recently been the hot topic of an online protest, named #SaveX.

10. Previously, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige had stated that X wasn’t a big enough character to fill
the role eventually filled by the Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. However, there were apparently plans to give
X a smaller role in the film, but those plans were canned because they didn’t do the fan-favourite
character justice.
During his debut, X was initially intended to be a surprise; an apparent monster who unexpectedly
turns out to be a great hero. As such, X is the first being outside the Marvel Universe's Norse
Pantheon to be introduced as being worthy to wield Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. After an initial rivalry for
possession of the weapon with Thor, the alien warrior was granted a war hammer of his own, called
Stormbreaker, and the two reconciled as staunch allies, going on to fight side by side.

12) In one of two stanzas in the poem Grímnismál that mentions the bridge, Grímnir (the god Odin in
disguise) provides the young Agnarr with cosmological knowledge, including that X is the best of
bridges.
"Kormt and Ormt and the Kerlaugs twain Shall Thor each day wade through, (When dooms to give he
forth shall go To the ash-tree Yggdrasil;) For heaven's bridge burns all in flame, And the sacred waters
seethe."
In Fáfnismál, the dying wyrm Fafnir tells the hero Sigurd that, during the events of Ragnarok, bearing
spears, gods will meet at Óskópnir. From there, the gods will cross X, which will break apart as they
cross over it.

13) “When a character is very popular, they will often get X Publicity: appearing in every comic book
title and format possible, smearing them all over even the non-related covers with all the fine delicacy
of bacon-flavoured soap. The character will often have a flood of mini-series which desperately search
for something new to do with them ("in this issue, X visits Turkmenistan!"), until the fans are sicker of
them than they would be of bacon if they had to bathe in an offal gutter at the meat-packing plant
too.
The next step of X Publicity is random cameos to drive other titles. The promoted character will
appear in the first issue of every new title, and appear in old titles with flagging sales, regardless of
whether the promoted character makes any sense there. Particularly shameless marketers will
just slap the promoted character on the cover and have them appear for one panel in the issue.”

14) The original X, which debuted in March 1962 edition of the Fantastic Four, was an oval-like flying
car that could split apart into multiple sections piloted by individual members of the Fantastic Four, a
model which would be maintained in all later versions. This model, like all other models used when
the Fantastic Four lived in the Baxter Building was stored in the top floor hangars. The original design
has often been ridiculed as looking like a "flying bathtub" by many and it was later replaced with a
newer, sleeker version.

16) When Victor Stone visits his parents at work at S.T.A.R. Labs, an experiment with an inter-
dimensional portal goes horribly wrong and a massive gelatinous monster kills his mother, Elinore. The
creature turns on Victor and severely mutilates him before his father, Silas forces the creature back
through the portal.
To save his son, Silas outfits him with experimental prosthetics of his own design. The equipment
cannot be worn inconspicuously, and Victor is horrified upon discovering that most of his body and
part of his face have been replaced with metallic implants. Victor initially wants to die, but he
eventually adjusts to the changes and learns to control his implants.
