5. Solution
A. Clients rate their current state of life satisfaction in the 8
dimensions of wellness as defined by SAMHSA. Our clinicians
collaborate with the client to identify how substance use impacted
each domain and the level of disconnection that exists within the
domain.
B. We provide a peer-reviewed, scientifically validated values
assessment to determine what the client values most in life and how
substance use disrupted how they live their values.
C. Through motivational interviewing and motivationally enhanced
therapeutic interventions, the client’s treatment plan is collaboratively
tailored to support change based on their assessed values and
levels of disconnection.

A. With the understanding that substance use is initially
engaged in as a solution to something, ranging from fitting in
with friends to coping with a traumatic experience, our clinical
team works with the client to heal internal wounds and
emotional scars that if left untreated increase the chance of
relapse.

exercise, and technology to

9. Solution
A. Clients are educated on the latest science backed evidence on the best practices when it comes to nutrition
and mental health and how diet influences neurogenesis, the regeneration of brain cells.
B. We educate the client on the mental and physical benefits of daily exercise that challenges them at their
physician approved level of participation. This can range from chair yoga to kickboxing and supports both
neurogenesis and facilitates neuroplasticity, a process whereby new neural pathways are created, and existing
ones are modified in response to behavioral and environmental changes (include nutrition).
C. We incorporate technologies that facilitate and bolster neuroplasticity from the current post-substance use
adulterated state to a healthier, alert, and cognitively receptive state.
D. Clients are educated on the role of sleep and recovery and how addiction disrupts the sleep cycle. Clients
are provided with holistic options to improve their sleep hygiene and facilitate healing.

A. We accept all clients seeking recovery
from addiction. All MAT clients and all forms
of MAT treatment are accepted. We
understand that harm reduction is, for some,
the pathway to abstinence and do not
discriminate or disrupt an established
client/prescriber relationship.

13. Solution
A. Our partnership with Restore Recovery Housing, LLC., allows us to provide
safe, structured housing to people seeking recovery services. Recovery houses
and supportive living environments are in Cleveland, Columbus, and other areas
throughout Ohio in low-activity settings to remove distractions from recovery. Our
housing is available to participants of Flourish Behavioral Health services and
those participating with other treatment providers.
B. Through peer-support, and other available modalities, transportation to
medical appointments, treatment sessions, community support meetings, and
essential shopping is provided to clients residing in one of our partnership
houses.
