I work for roleplay agencies based in Cambridge, Norwich and London and I am very happy to travel for my work. From my 18
years of experience in roleplay, I am now a trained facilitator and simulated patient trainer and am confident in being able to
facilitate as well as roleplay, depending on the needs of the client.
I work in both the corporate and the medical field of roleplay. Corporate work includes working for the Vetinary Defence Society
(VDS), Cheshire. Travelling round the country for various VDS conferences – acting out many varied scenarios with regard to
owners and pets, vets and vetinary nurses and staff. Including forum theatre/improvisation. Also working in
roleplay/communication skills with Vetinary Students.
I cover a complete range of medical roleplays, and regularly take part in the exams for the students as well as the sessions in all
aspects of communication skills based learning. I am very versatile and play many different and very demanding types of role,
such as psychiatric/mental health, breaking bad news, death and dying, dealing with awkward patients/clients/staff, playing of
medical staff, etc. I also assist one to one with Doctors to help them pass GP qualifying exams. I work regularly with cancer
nurses and doctors and also Hospices and Chaplains to assist in practicing very difficult consultations/confrontations.
I have been employed as the actor to help train the tutors at both Cambridge University and Norwich University Medical Schools.
