  1. ICP = Ideal Customer Profile Narrow your focus Identify a independent segments, rank target profiles Find your perfect LinkedIn & Twitter profiles
  2. Where is their digital playground, what are they playing with? Where does your ICP go online to learn & share? What type of content are they liking/sharing Where do they learn about similar products or services
  3. Gather details, i.e. scrape a list Use technology to expedite the process Fertile grounds – LinkedIn, Twitter, Events/Conferences Virtual Assistants can fill the hole
  4. Validate accuracy prior to outbound effort Use technology to validate ICP information Gamify a team of VA’s based on data accuracy Test accuracy by out bounding to a subset of ‘C grade’ ICP’s
  5. What is the universal truth for this ICP That compelling, relevant information speaks to themn Narrow your messaging. WIIFM – “what is in it for me” What measurable impact can you have for them
  6. Playgrounds and personality dictate the channel mix Use your research to identify the primary channel Avoid personal channels without an introduction Leverage referrals & introductions as much as possible
  7. Channels dictate cadence Persistence is key but respect their time How many contacts to make before moving to the next ICP Which channels are you going to use for which touch
  8. You rarely get it right the first time, try & try again. Use technology to track your performance & engagement Create a cadence for review performance regularly Mystery sign-up to other providers for best practices
