Departamento de Ciruxía Universidade de Santiago de Compostela E-15782 Santiago de Compostela España To whom it may concern Andres Crespo Vieira has been working in my group from March 2008 to September 2008 under my supervision as a predoctoral student. Among other number of persons, I selected Andres to work in my lab because of his positive attitude regarding scientific and research work. During his staying in my research group he was able to efficiently learn all procedures involving animal care and husbandry. He actively participated in all experiments carried out in our laboratory. Acknowledgement to his contribution is the fact that he was the first author of one our papers (Current Eye Research, 2009, 34:355-359). After joining us, Andres showed a high capability to participate in all tasks related to the research group and to integrate himself in our Department where his personal relationship with all members was very fluent and positive.
