Generations trying to balance the onslaught
of unimaginable technology, with threats
of climate change and social unrest are
retreating to the safety of childhood,
questioning authority and rediscovering the
very art of discovery itself.
Political, economic and social unrest has
changed cultural landscapes and resulted in
unprecedented movement of humans across
the globe, whilst our stores have begun to
reflect warehouses full of statuesque soldier
mannequins - monotonous and uninspired.
Now we want to break free from our daily
challenges, expressing ourselves through the
unique and the different, the dramatic and the
spectacular. Look at me now!
INSIGHT
7. I N S P I R AT I O N
Inspired by this insight and exploration into
future display trends and cultural changes,
the vision for a new mannequin is born.
Taking inspiration from the dynamism of
the human body, the dramatic poses aim
to capture those forms in motion whilst
maintaining a fashion focused functionality
for the ultimate in merchandise presentation.
Passion and intrigue drive the pursuit of
creative solutions from sketch to solidity -
exploring, experimenting and discovering
ideas that guide us to a new visual chapter.
