To Whom It May Concern:
Anastasia Welsh has been working with us at the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center for four years,
beginning in September of 2009. She started as an usher but was quickly promoted to house managing and
assisting with events coordinating, which includes staffing of all events that take place in four of our
venues. Anastasia has a positive attitude and takes pride in every aspect of her studies and her work-study
job. She has a great rapport with and cares for the students, staff, and faculty that she works with. She has
been able to develop a skill set that has enabled her to work with databases, managing people, customer
service, and hospitality needs. Anastasia has demonstrated good leadership skills and can get instructions
across in a firm but light-hearted way. She also has a great sense of humor. She is inquisitive, exuberant,
punctual, and truly enjoys her position here, despite her hectic schedule between her studies and her dance.
Any time there is a project or task to be done, Anastasia is more than willing to take it on.
During her time here, she was able to work with various dance companies and world-renowned artists
through house managing these events/concerts. Working at the Performing Arts Center was the perfect job
for Anastasia because it related to the particular arts field that she is interested in. It is also my
understanding that she has been asked to participate in the Regional Dance of America Festival this May.
She taught one of her choreographic works to the Jr. Company students of the Erie Dance Conservatory
Company and post-graduation they will be performing the piece at the aforementioned festival. That speaks
volumes for a student that has yet to graduate.
I am sure that you will find that Anastasia will be an asset to your organization.
