The Society of Chemical Industry was established in 1881 by scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs to promote links between chemical sciences and industry for public benefit. Today, SCI represents numerous companies and universities and addresses global issues through the work of scientists. Membership offers opportunities to enhance knowledge through networking events, the C&I magazine, and lectures on topics like food safety. Students can join for £15 by October 13th to take advantage of opportunities like the Young Chemist in Industry and Career Fair events.
