1. Moments….
The calm of the breeze as it passes through the trees,
The sound of the waves as they ripple through the storm,
The feel of the sand tickling my feet,
The sight of the eagle’s flying- flying high across the sky.
The midnight sky as it is filled with stars,
Bright and shiny like a thousand little diamond lights,
The moon looking radiant in a midnight dress,
Smelling of sweet cheese and winter grapes.
Rosy pink, midnight blue, pasty orange,
The color of the sky as the sun bows down to you,
A feeling of love and magic you brew,
A feeling of relief as the day bids through.
The sun rising above the snow peak,
Glistening and glimmering are the remaining snowflakes,
Hundreds of miles of ravenous white snow,
Making a homestead for the starkly ice-witch.
The pitch black night as I fall asleep,
Twilight and dew as I think of you,
No memories of mine are grander,
No beauty can ever compare,
With the lovely home we share- the earth,
Mother of all beauty,
Peaceful and safe.
A poor has no wealth of which to brag,
But those moments are worth more than a million dimes,
Each morning I awake to the rising sun,
Each night I sleep- staring at the dreamy night sky,
What more can a poor man ask for?
But beauty for which to look at
And a warm mother nature to love and adore,
These are the moments I share and behold.
