BIO
Amiel Gervers is a freelance commercial and fine art photographer. Originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Amiel moved to New York at 17 to study at Pratt Institute, where she received her degree in Graphic Design
and Photography. For more than a decade Amiel worked as a Creative Director and Art Director for leading
advertising agencies in New York, such as Draft FCB, Euro RSCG Life, Saatchi & Saatchi and MDC Advertising,
while simultaniously heading her own company, Seven Senses Advertising Design. After many adventures
photographing on 6 continents, she recently left the big city to come home to her roots in Santa Fe.
Amiel specializes in Culinary Arts, Portraits and Special Events. Her work is passionate and visceral. She
captures the intuitive energy of musicians and culinary artists through spontaneity and dynamic composition.
Recently Amiel has had solo and group shows at Sohn Fine Art Gallery, Stockbridge MA and Berkshire Botanic
Gardens, Great Barrington, MA. Her commercial work has been featured in Wine Press Magazine, Gourmet,
Good Housekeeping, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Weekly and Ad Week Magazine.
