LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
To whom it may concern: Amel Murgić
I am pleased to provide a reference for Amel Murgić, my former student at Faculty of Chemistry and
Chemical Technology, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
I was Amel’s degree and project supervisor during summer semester, 2015. Amel first came to my
attention at the beginning of semester when he requested to work and learn under my supervision.
At that time I was working at Department of Physical Chemistry which students generally tend to
avoid because a lot of work and high level of expertise are needed in order to finish undergraduate
degree. Needless to say, his application made a big impression on me and I offered him position on a
project exploring possibilities of using Differential scanning calorimetry as a new diagnostic
technique. He has proven himself as an energetic, hardworking and goal‐oriented person. During our
discussions, he demonstrated maturity and ability to defend his ideas while paying careful attention
to my remarks. I also noticed that he exhibits very versatile experimental skills as well as the
capability for developing novel ideas. He also has very good working habits, keeps calm under
pressure and never misses a deadline. At the end of the project he used obtained knowledge to
study thermodynamic properties of blood plasma proteome. Collected data were used to write the
final report needed to obtain undergraduate degree.
I sincerely believe that the application of Amel Murgić for position in your company should be given
serious consideration and I know he will do his best to meet your expectations.
With the very best regards,
