1. Chaparral biome
The Chaparral biome is found in little bits of continents - the west coast of
the United States, the west coast of South America, the Cape Town area of
South Africa ECT.... Lay of the land: The chaparral biome has many
different types of terrain. Some examples are flat plains, rocky hills and
mountain slopes. In Chaparral’s it is very hot and dry. When it is winter the
temperature is about 10 °C.
When it becomes summer the temperature becomes very hot, the
temperature is about 40°C. All of the animals and all of the plants are
adapted to the hot and dry weather in the Chaparrals. Some of the small
plants have very small leaves that are very thick that holds moisture. Most
of the plants are poison and toxic. The Chaparral can be very hot or very
cold.
Plants that live in the Chaparrals do not drop their leaves during the hot
season. There are few plants in the Chaparral because the weather is to hot
that it makes fire and burns the plants. Most of the Chaparral has thorns to
protect their herbivore. You find many Chaparrals in Texas. Chaparrals are
very hot lands.
