Introduction

I. Attention Catcher: Imagine this, spending an entire day outside in the summer heat,
swimming, hiking, running, doing whatever makes you happy. And each time you get
thirsty the moment you take a sip from your water bottle, it’s as crisp and icy as the
moment you poured it in hours ago. Or after being gone all day with classes, walking
in the body numbing 10 degree weather, you can still warm up with your fresh
steaming hot cup of coffee from that morning.
II. Listener Relevance Link: Now I am sure you all are wondering why is it that you
have never been able to experience this. The answer is because you have never owned a
S’well bottle before.
III. Speaker Credibility: I can tell you that as a fellow student, human, and enjoyer of
the little things in life that you do not know what you are missing until you try these
bottles.
IV. Thesis Statement: Between their design, size, and look S’well bottles guarantee
perfection with every use. These bottles are made to fit every type of person, at any age,
and I am going to tell you why.
V. Preview: In the next couple minutes, I want to tell you all about what the bottle stands
for, how they are designed to keep long lasting freshness, as well as the overall look that
is so desired.

Transition (optional): Before I talk about the design, I want to tell you all the mission of
S’well. I first heard about the mission of S’well though a video on their website.

I. First Main Point: Sarah Kauss, the founder and CEO of S’well states that “the
mission of swell is to get single use disposable beverage containers out of land fills
and out of the ocean.” It is this mission that drives S’well to be the best. It is the
reason why these bottles are long lasting and durable which makes them a ONE
TIME BUY.
A. Subpoint: Each bottle is insulated and made from double walled non- toxic
stainless steel. As well as a vacuumed seal top that promises to keep all beverages
cold for 24 hours, and hot for 12.
1. 1. Sub-Subpoint: ASpro from Seattle describes their experience with S’well
when they visited Disneyland on the container store consumer report. They
state how after spending the entire day in the “90 degree California heat, it
didn’t matter if we had drank all the liquid out of the bottle or not, we always
had ice left in the bottle by the time we got back to our hotel room late at
night after closing out the parks. This was the case all 5 days”.

Transition: Along with the unbelievable design of S’well bottle, there is the many
different sizes that allows all kinds of uses and accommodates everyones needs.

II. Second Main Point: Each bottle comes in either a 9 oz. size, 17 oz. size, or the 25 oz.
size and prices ranges from $25 to $45. If you think these prices are excessive I can
assure you that they are not. These bottles again are a ONE TIME buy, and the benefits of
these bottle justifies their price.

A. Sub point First I want to talk about the largest size that is 25 oz., this is the
size you want if you know you will be out for a while or have a long day where
you would want to have more water one you.
1. Sub- Sub point: Also for anyone 21 or older, this S’well has the ability
to hold an entire bottle of wine. This means that you can take a whole
bottle of nice chilled cold wine on the go maybe for a picnic in the park, or
dinner party.

2. Sub-Subpoint: The next size is my personal favorite, the 17 oz. size.
This is perfect for carrying around from class to class, and is a quick grab
before leaving for the day. It may hold less liquid, but counteracts that by
fitting in the side pocket of backpacks, purses, and other bags easier.

3. Sub sub point: The last and smallest size is 7 oz. This is perfect for
anyone who has children or young family members. It is small and easy to
carry and put with their lunches for school or on the go. This particular
one is my 6 year old brothers personal favorite, and he brings it
everywhere.

Transition: To go along with each size is all the many colors, textures, patterns it comes
in.

III Third Main Point:. S’well bottles are fashionable, modern, sleek and are constantly
coming in more colors.

A. Sub point: Several times a year, S’well will create new season inspired
collections to go along with their year round designs. Some collections examples
are the Galaxy collection which features bottles with an iridescent look, the
metallic collection which features their titanium, rose and white gold bottles, and
one amazing feature about their wood collection is that every bottle purchased
from this collection donates to support the American Forests’ restoration efforts.

simple collections with all the colors that could be desired for not just
women but men also.
