1. Unemployment Issue in Pakistan and its
Economical Solution

Introduction:
Unemployment is one of a major issue in our country. Because when unemployment is high,
Resources are wasted and people's incomes are depressed. Even different developing countries are
also facing it but in Pakistan, the situation is more serious .
Each year there are about 8 lac new job candidates are added into the labor force in Pakistan. Main
problem is to generate employment opportunities for these new candidates.
During unemployment, economic distress also affect people's emotions and family lives.
Causes of Unemployment Issue in Pakistan:
In Pakistan, The concept of employers and employees working together in close cooperation to ensure
productivity, profitability and growth of businesses and security of employment is not existed.
The major causes by which unemployment is griping on our country are:
• Political dominancy and Lack of political infrastructure.
•
Lack of the job opportunities.
•
Lack of interest in technical education.
•
Illiteracy.
•
Education just for the sake of education, not for purpose.
•
Transferring of rural labor to towns.
•
Child labor.
•
Double standards in the implementation of the merit policy.
•
Youth focuses of on unrealistic and not beneficial careers. They only want white collar jobs.
•
Lack of resources of industry.
•
Employment rights, security issues and lack of employee needs satisfaction
Unemployment Challenges in Pakistan:
Pakistan’s economy and society is effectively suffering from Unemployment issue.
Lack of Employees resources effect the industrial sector, the industries are major part of any
country’s economy .by unemployment, production and development is highly effect by which
industrial productivity is deceased, industries suffer from losses. Crimes, corruption, terrorism ,
security, law and order issues are coming up and highly damage our country’s peace, business,
economical and social environment. the recruitment of ineligible people of job which causes lack of
productivity ,unsuitable working standard etc

2. Who are suffering from Unemployment?

The Economy of Pakistan is highly effect.
•
Industries are suffering lack of man power and employees.
•
Lower class becomes poorer and poverty rate is increasing.
•
Unemployed People find wrong ways such as crimes, corruption, unmerited job opportunities
and terrorism to get rid from the financial crisis and to fulfill their and their family’s basic needs.
•
Eligible and talented people can’t make themselves stable and successful.
People who are in beneficial side from Unemployment:
•
Foreign powers can use unemployed citizen for their aims against Pakistan.
•
Pakistan’s industrial competitors such as India are taking advantage of Pakistan’s current
situations.
•
Enemy of Pakistan are taking advantage of it by using the jobless employers for different crimes,
Terrorism etc.
•
Corruption and unmerited based job opportunities increases and ineligible people can easily get
jobs .
Alternative Economical Solution to Unemployment in Pakistan:
Pakistan is affected major areas of the economy and the various parts of the society. There are some
economical solutions to resolve these issues.
• Solution for unemployment is that Government should make changes in Employment Promotion,
rights, safety and security Policies. And make sure the companies and organizations strictly
follow them.
•
Make flexible decision of taxes and wages for poor employees.
•
Government should work on the educational issues and make sure that basic education must
be free of cost by which the Illiteracy will be decreases, job opportunities awareness will be
developed and employee will be beware with technology too.
•
Government also should try to focus on unemployed people too, by support them during
unemployment and give job opportunities etc.

Make sure employee must have scarcity to satisfy their basic need example food, clothing,
shelter and education etc.

Increase production and development and establish the industries to decrease unemployment.
•
Make sure that recruitment should be merit based.
