 To advise on the type of skills,
knowledge, and attitudes needed to pre-
pare students for entering into a specific
occupation .
 To serve as a communication channel
between the school and employers
 To list the specific skills and suggested
related and technical information for the
program and courses required for entry
into and promotion within a career area
 To keep the school or college informed
on current specific needs and changes
in the labor market.

About Palisade Prep WBL
Program
Through work-based learning, students
are given the opportunity to experience
how academic instruction in the classroom
connects to the real world of work. Pali-
sade Preparatory School work-based
learning program will prepare students as
they make the transition from school to
work in the community, strengthen aca-
demic and personal behaviors, and pro-
vide on-going mentoring and support. Our
career clusters are :Law and Law Enforce-
ment, Fire and Emergency Medical Ser-
vices, and Public Safety Management.

 It’s comprised of representatives from
industry, community, and education.
 Members serve as valuable partners in
education by advising and assisting in
planning and implementing career tech-
nical programs in our career clusters.
