1. Cat eye liner is one of the most classic
looks in beauty history. Actresses, in-
cluding Audrey Hepburn, Sophia Loren
and Brigitte Bardot played a prominent
role in making the cat eye relevant. And
music icons such as Nina Simone, Diana
Ross and Madonna have all put their own
spin on the feminine and flirt eye
makeup. But mastering cat eye liner
hasn't always been easy.

Tear off a piece of scotch tape and line
it up against the lower lid of your eye.
Take your liquid eyeliner and draw a
line directly against the tape so that you
end up with a straight, slanted line.
Draw a line directly from the top of
the slanted line to the middle the eye.
Add another line from the middle of the
eye to the corner of the eye. Make sure that
when you get closer to the corner of the
eye your line gets thinner so that it is not
the same width as the outer part of the eye,
this gives it a more sleek look.
Fill in the first half of the line so that the
eyeliner is evenly filled in and thick enough
to stand out, without looking too heavy.
Fill in the second half of the line and make
sure that the line connects to the bottom
right corner of the eye, allowing no gaps
to show. If there are any uneven marks or
your “wing” is too long, you can always go
back and dip an angled brush into your
concealer and adjust the liner to your
liking. Make-up remover is also an option
but it may leave the skin oily.
Last but not least, apply your favorite false
lashes to give your cat eye a fabulous finish-
ing touch as well as your favorite mascara,
to bring out your bottom lashes. Be sure to
use lash glue that includes a brush for apply-
ing, since it’s much easier for beginners and
you will avoid ruining your lashes or having
sticky glue residue!
