Objective
Seeking for a full time position as an electrical engineer to acquire experience, at the same time help achieve company goals where my professional experience can improve.
Education
University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
Graduation Date: December, 2014
Research Experience
SOLAR CHARGE STATION, “Capstone Project” UPRM 2014
In charge for designing electric charging stations to supply electric and hybrid vehicles.
Different photovoltaic modules, voltage regulator, inverters and grid-tie connection where evaluated to satisfy the standards required for an electrical design.
Possible outcomes of electrical designs and economic costs are presented to a jury for validation.
PHOTOVOLTAIC-LED SYSTEM, Business Design, UPRM 2014
Responsible in the production of a photovoltaic-led system while taking into consideration manufacturing costs and social impact.
Particular focus remained in the design for a "Buck" converter since it would be implemented on a production line.
Considerations in assembly line, financial analysis, production budget, quality and environmental standards of the product along with marketing decisions where made.
BALL AND BEAM FEEDBACK DIGITAL CONTROLLER, Control Project, UPRM 2014
Design mathematical modeling of ball and beam system operated by SRV02. Used MATLAB Simulink to design virtual instrument to simulate system responses and apply controller design methods in accordance with operation requirements.
FAULT ANALYSIS, Design Project, UPRM 2013
A team project, where responsibilities as leader stands, for the analysis and implementation of a quick charge station and fault analysis.
Power flow analysis algorithm for single line to ground fault, and balanced fault where made.
Presentations and interviews were conducted to validate the project. Professional Activities
PES (Power Energy Society) – A sub-division of IEEE Association. Active member and participant of all activities. Must recent:
Energy Audit Conference.
Industrial Affiliate Program, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department 2012 - 2013
Presenter at 24th fall/spring Annual Meeting for IAP 2012-2013 in UPRM Skills
Computer knowledge in software programs such as PowerWorld, Matlab, AutoCAD & C++.
Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English and Spanish
Fast learner, reliable worker and able to work under any circumstances.
GPA: 3.11/4.00
